70/hr Node.js / API Management. 12+ Months. Contract. Milwaukee, WI. (L-3091) (B)

WHY APPLY?

Are you an Node.js server side?  Have a history of working with API Management solutions (like APIgee, CA Technologies, MuleSoft, Mashery, 3Scale, Axway, etc.)?  Then this gig might be of interest to you.

    CHANGE LOG:

02/20/18 13:56 PM . Tim Bauer. Shutting this down based on lack of feedback and candidates w/ sufficient node.js server side exposure.

02/15/18 15:51 PM . Tim Bauer. Move to hold per agent. Client might have a candidate in play that will work for this role. Will reopen if not.

02/08/18 14:02 PM . Tim Bauer. Pinged agent for status. Keep sourcing in interim.

02/01/18 14:21 PM . Tim Bauer. Still looking here. Not seeing any candidates w/ sufficient focus around node.js server side at lead/arch level.

01/26/18 00:35 AM . Tim Bauer. Client clarifies that there are two roles. One is a senior node.JS resource to support migration from HPSM to Cherwell (Node RED, API, ITIL/ITSM, etc.). The other would be focused on server side node.js specifically around performance tuning as they have a Apigee Edge Gateway that is having timeout problems (based on node.js). There are other areas after that ... but that is the primary focus.

01/25/18 17:05 PM . Tim Bauer. Added Node-RED to the skill list as there is a 2nd role similar to this focused specifically on that aspect of node.js delivery (IOT).

01/24/18 21:14 PM . Tim Bauer. Updated target profile to be this --> "Node.js Server Side Developer with depth around either (a) API Management solutions (b) Node.js tuning and/or (c) micro gateways based on node.js."

01/24/18 20:28 PM . Tim Bauer. This has been on the street with other vendors for about a week but they were not finding anyone so the client asked us to poke around. We suspect the 'missing' aspect to this need isn't a candidate that knows node.js but someone that has either (a) tuned it and/or (b) worked with it and API Management around micro gateways.
