Our direct client is in the process of migrating a large line of business systems from mainframe Z/OS to an iSeries platform. This request is for developers experienced in COBOL running in an iSeries environment. Development experience on a mainframe Z/OS platform is a pus.

NOTE -- must come to Madison, WI for one week on-boarding.

TARGET PROFILES

  • #1 - Cobol Developer -- Z/OS or iSeries 5+ years, proven record of telecommute required
  • SKILLS - CORE:

  • COBOL development in a Mainframe Z/OS and/or IBM iSeries environment
  • If you want to do telecommute (as defined in posting), have you worked remotely successfully before?
  • SKILLS - MAJORITY REQUIRED:

  • COBOL

  • Demonstrated analytical experience delivering high-level and detailed technical specifications

  • Compensation: Up to $55.00/hr in a c2c/1099 structure. Limited W2 structure also possible but rate drops to $47.50/hr gross. We say gross as the limited w2 rate shown is before employer/employee taxes (not take home; take home would be lower as its after employee taxes which vary).
  • Payment Terms: Bi-Weekly invoice, NET 30 payment off invoice.
