Telecommute Position -- Cobol Developers
Our direct client is in the process of migrating a large line of business systems from mainframe Z/OS to an iSeries platform. This request is for developers experienced in COBOL running in an iSeries environment. Development experience on a mainframe Z/OS platform is a pus.
NOTE -- must come to Madison, WI for one week on-boarding.

Database -- DB2
Demonstrated analytical experience delivering high-level and detailed technical specifications
Agile development methodology and adhering to development standards and procedures
Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver assignments on time, on budget, and with the required functionality
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent problem resolution, judgment and decision making skills
SKILLS - ALSO CONSIDERED:
QA/testing background with a mainframe and/or iSeries
Employment Type: Contract
Role: Cobol Developers w/ iSeries
Location: Madison, WI. Client is open to 100% remote work per week.
Compensation: Up to $55.00/hr in a c2c/1099 structure. Limited W2 structure also possible but rate drops to $47.50/hr gross. We say gross as the limited w2 rate shown is before employer/employee taxes (not take home; take home would be lower as its after employee taxes which vary).
Payment Terms: Bi-Weekly invoice, NET 30 payment off invoice.
