In short, the end client is wanting to add a resource to the automation infrastructure team they have internally.  In addition to hands on delivery, the client wants this role to also mentor their internal staff as well as lead certain aspects of their efforts (so prior mentoring/lead roles are of value).  Core tools they mentioned woudl be ones like Ansible and Terraform.  Bonus points if candidate is open to contract-to-hire (but contract only is fine).

Based on candidates screened/submitted the key is someone that has done notable ENTERPRISE scale scripting work to enable infrastructure deployment/configuration/security in the cloud (AWS or Azure). Scripting to do CI/CD aspects is a plus but shouldn't be the core of the candidates recent work.
