In this role you will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing deliverables and timelines associated with Microsoft SharePoint. You will resolve issues through self-research, peer groups networks, or discussion forums; install, configure, upgrade, and deploy applications, systems software, and products throughout platform with minimum supervision; identify and resolve system issues proactively. Perform daily monitoring and troubleshooting of the platform components; installs and configures patches and upgrades as required.

TARGET PROFILES

(in order of desirability)

  • #1 - SharePoint Admin 5+ years. Demonstrated experience working in a remote delivery model. Able to be onsite in Madison, WI for on-boarding or potentially for special task work.
  • SKILLS - CORE:

  • SharePoint Administration in remote delivery model
  • Can the candidate be onsite in requested (implies they are currently local and/or willing to cover cost of travel)?
  • Interested in part-time work?
  • SKILLS - MAJORITY REQUIRED:

  • Assignment of proper permission levels for all users of the site as well as configuring anonymous access if required
  • Creation of a Content DB and maintaining it. It involves maintenance of various logging databases in SQL Server. Compressing of logging Databases
  • Configuring all service applications like Search, Metadata, User Profile Synchronization etc
  • Powershell
  • Provide in comments an online profile (LinkedIn URL, etc) . Put URL details in comments. If you don't have an online profile, put NA in comments.
  • Installing, configuring, maintaining, upgrading and managing a SharePoint Server Farm
