In short, the role is with the State of Wisconsin (DOA). They are looking to backfill an existing resource on the team that is moving on to other opportunities. Role involves replacement of equipment in the field, patch management, Active Directory, ARCserve backups, Exchange, and storage solutions based on Azure. Candidates currently local to the Madison area are strongly preferred. You can see the overall list of skills being targetted in the qualification list below but Active Directory, Email Servers, and General Server administration is what the hiring manager specifically notated.

#1 - Currently local to Madison area; Systems administrator with focus on Windows, Exchange, AD; VMWare a plus. Must be open to some in State travel.
SKILLS - CORE:
Desktop Management (LANDesk, SCCM, etc.)
Experience working with equipment vendors and warranty policies
Data storage and management
Security Tools & Concept Knowledge (Desktop, Virus, remediation, etc.)
Open to some travel within the State if expenses paid? (yes/no)

Compensation: Up to $57.00/hr in a c2c/1099 structure. Limited W2 structure also possible but rate drops to $49.00/hr gross. We say gross as the limited w2 rate shown is before employer/employee taxes (not take home; take home would be lower as its after employee taxes which vary).
Payment Terms: Bi-Weekly invoice, NET 45 payment off invoice.
