Assignments will include analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation of CA-Gen Client/Server applications including assisting with project management, creating project documents (including timelines). The target environment is Client/Server using DB2 on the mainframe, as well as web interfaces where appropriate. You will work with a variety of employees to analyze and design the necessary programs, translating business requirements into functioning CA-Gen Client/Server programs. You will formulate and plan outlining steps required to develop program, using methodologies such as structured analysis and design or object-oriented development. Reads computer outputs to detect syntax or logic errors during program test, or uses diagnostic software to detect errors. Replaces, deletes, or modifies codes to correct errors. You will analyze, review and alter CA-Gen programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.

  • SKILLS - CORE:

  • CA-Gen client server development experience for enterprise-wide application development
  • CA-Gen graphical user interface design experience
  • Is the candidate willing, if requested, to authorize background checks and/or education checks as part of selection process?
  • SKILLS - MAJORITY REQUIRED:

  • Mainframe Application Experience (COBOL/CICS/JCL/SQL/IDMS/DB2) Including Ability to Identify and Create Test Data; Creating and Modifying Files and JCL in Order to Test the Accuracy of System Modifications.
