In this role you will work as part of a team responsible for facilities-based systems, including but not limited to, surveillance, door control, building automation, and telecommunication. This work includes all aspects of planning, installation, and support of the aforementioned systems, including supporting desktop PCs, servers, network devices, storage solutions, and surveillance-specific equipment. Install, configure, maintain, and monitor multiple state-wide networks.

Responsible for extensive system documentation creation and updates.Improvisational skills, creativity, adaptability, and strong troubleshooting skills required. Day travel also required, and long days are common.

TARGET PROFILES

  • #1 - On-site technical support 5+ years; Hardware and software installation 3+ years; wireless networking 3+ years. Candidate must have a valid driver's license.
  • SKILLS - CORE:

  • Create & modify system documentation: Intermediate MS Visio, SharePoint
  • Install new hardware and software
  • Experience with wireless networking
  • Valid Drivers License and Vehicle for travel as needed
  • SKILLS - MAJORITY REQUIRED:

  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience troubleshooting technology support issues
