In short, the end client is looking to bring on a data analytics engineer to assist them with data analytics work in process.  For example resource would:

  • Write TSQL queries and stored procedures to profile and extract data from source systems
  • Create Tabular models using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), including DAX queries
  • Create Power BI reports
  • Work at the direction of a a Technical Architect (aka “tech lead”) and Scrum Master

  • SKILLS - MAJORITY REQUIRED:

  • SQL Server -- T-SQL
  • Power BI
  • Data Analysis Expressions (DAX)
  • Tabular Models
  • Data Modeling -- Principles and techniques
  • Agile (scrum) team experience
  • Provide either (1) an online profile (LinkedIn URL, etc) or (2) a reference that you reported to. If providing reference, share name, company, phone, and email where email is from the domain of the company. If neither, put NA in comments.

That said, they liked our candidate that screened w/ them today so if that candidate is still available when they get the green light he would get a formal offer (otherwise we’ll reopen it).
