This candidate will be responsible for assisting in ETL design, development, testing, maintenance, metadata, and implementation of data warehouse initiatives. Understand user requirements and implement solutions that ensure requirements can be achieved through high quality deliverables. Develop ETL mapping specifications for loading information into the data warehouse and for ensuring reliability of information loaded.
Initially work will be remote due to Covid restrictions. Once restrictions are lifted the contractor will be required to work onsite.

TARGET PROFILES

#1 - Informatica Dev 5+ years. Business Objects 3+ years. Preference given to candidates with State Government experience.
SKILLS - CORE:
Experience in extract, transform, and load coding using Informatica
Business Objects or other BI tools
Experience in requirements gathering for data warehouse

This position is telecommute due to Covid-19. Candidate is willing and able to work onsite in Madison, WI once circumstances allow.

Ability to navigate and query a relational database (Oracle) to both develop reports and to perform data validation using common tools including SQL/PLSQL.

Knowledge of Kimball data warehouse and business intelligence lifecycle methodology
Knowledge of Kimball data warehouse design principals
Develop Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Procedures
Identify defects
Familiarity with state privacy statutes

In-Depth Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle Deliverables for each Phase of Development

Location: Madison, WI. Client is open to 100% remote work per week. but need to be within commute distance to the end-client.
Compensation: Up to $55.00/hr in a c2c/1099 structure. Limited W2 structure also possible but rate drops to $47.50/hr gross. We say gross as the limited w2 rate shown is before employer/employee taxes (not take home; take home would be lower as its after employee taxes which vary).
Payment Terms: Bi-Weekly invoice, NET 45 payment off invoice.
