This role assists with the support, configuration, implementation, maintenance and training of Commitment Control and General Ledger, PeopleSoft 9.2. Ensure system is meeting corporate needs. Experience and strong functional knowledge in support and implementation of Commitment Control across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Expenses, Procurement (Req, PO & P-Card), Inventory, Project Costing, Billing, Accounts Receivable and Treasury is required (PS 9.0 minimum). Deep experience with General Ledger, including Combo Edit Design and Refinement, Trees, Summary Ledgers, and vision. Thorough understanding of both Expense and Revenue Commitment Control Ledgers. Experience working with multiple Control Budget Definitions under different SETIDs and with Parent/Child control Budget Definitions. Reports to a supervisor or manager.

  • In depth understanding of PeopleSoft Cash Management’s functionality to implement UWSA business processes around cash management to use within the PeopleSoft Financials V9.1 modules.
  • Strong understanding of the Accounting impacts of the Treasury & Cash Management Modules
  • SKILLS - MAJORITY REQUIRED:

  • Provide One Work Reference -- the client requires a reference to be shared on submission. Name, phone, email, company, role. Ideally someone candidate reported to.
  • Experience transitioning a client that is already live on PeopleSoft from a “Banking” focused implementation to a Treasury & Cash Management focused implementation
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; responds well to questions; writes clearly and informatively; varies writing styles to meet needs; presents numerical data effectively.
  • Analyze software and design information flow; make recommendations as necessary
  • Knowledge of Financial accounting systems.
  • Problem-solving skills. Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions; works well in group problem-solving situations.

  • Experience with all phases of PeopleSoft application development including requirements analysis, fit/gap, design, development, test and deployment regression, parallel and user acceptance
  • Ability to review current banking structure and services and make recommendations for changes to support streamlined business processes
