In short, this contract is about a Python rewrite from R. The resource will be working alone, so a prior history of where you had to be a 'one-man army' is of value. The client will have the resource shadowed by a few SMEs, so openness to mentoring and knowledge transfer is vital. R experience is not required (but nice to have). You can work 100% remotely, but candidates MUST reside in the US and can work standard business times (8-5 CST). Note, that visa candidates may apply but must have 1+ years left on it. In addition, the end client will not write letters in support of visa extensions (we will).
